By Devon. More Than Words is having the Brandeis Slam Team for our open mic night. What is slam poetry? It is one of the most virtal and energetic types of poetry there is. Slam poetry is strong, with rhythm! An actual Slam is like a battle between one another or two teams competing against each with the poetry they have written .
