MTW Blog : MTW and the Celtics - MTW Blog (6/17/10)

added by mtwblog 599 days ago under FrontPage

By Marceline and Jen,

TONIGHT at 9PM the Celtics will be playing the Lakers in game seven of the NBA finals. I (Jen) am from Boston and personally don’t follow the Celtics team but I (Marceline), a native New Yorker, think that the Lakers are good, but the Celtics are better.   In fact I am confident that the Celtics are going to beat the Lakers. They have Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Rasheed Wallace, and Rajon Rondo. As a New Yorker I am rooting against the Celtics, so I hope the Lakers will win, but I think they’re going to have to bring their A-game because I can tell Kobe Bryant really wants that 2010 ring. Even though I’m not a fan, I’ve noticed that the Celtics work together kind of how MTW works to empower us youth. MTW is a youth run business to help us move forward, and like you Celtics fans we believe that we can achieve anything if we focus and believe in ourselves.  Also, MTW is ecstatic over this game because we have so many books about the Celtics, other Boston teams and even some New York teams.  So come on down to MTW, check out our sports selection, and take a minute to talk basketball with our team.  If you are a fan in dire need of some Celtics books, we have got you covered.  Remember, you’re not a fan until you know your team inside and out!
