By Yuri. Happy New Year from More Than Words! Is your New Year's resolution to start eating healthy, quit smoking, or maybe spend more time with family? No matter what your resolution is, you can get off on the right foot by going to MTW. My New Year's resolution is to start running again, run 45-60 miles a week, and attend a community college. My name is Yuri and I'm an Associate at MTW. I'm also recently cafe trained and worked my first cafe shift one week ago. I like working in the cafe because it enables me to use and learn new skills. By Domingo. Our goal for the Shop-a-Thon on Dec. 8th was to make $2,000 in 3 hours. We surpassed that by almost $200 and ended with a grand total of $2,161!! Thanks to all of our customers for coming out, supporting us, and spending money here so that we could hit our goal! We had roughly 100 of the nicest people in the world come out and support us. In addition, thanks to all of our youth and adult staff members who worked together to make sure the store looked its best. Matt and Kayla on the mic kept track of our progress and made everyone feel welcome. Joseph and Jorge read seasonal books to the children in the store.
