ETO Results: Bootcamp for Near-Beginners

Are you looking to better manage your organization’s data and to hone your performance management plan?

ETO Boot Camp will provide the training and coaching that builds the capacity in evaluation professionals to successfully implement ETO at their organizations. Through small group and one-on-one sessions, participants will be able to learn best practices and master technical skills to incorporate into their everyday work. Come join these intimate online training sessions and learn how to take your evaluation and data systems to the next level under the supervision of More Than Words’ Director of Learning and Evaluation.

Dates: Thursday, February 13th and 27th; Thursday, March 12th and 26th (2020)

Session Details:

Session 1: ETO Results for Near-Beginners * Queries, Formulas, and Design

• Build queries using the right fields to maximize report performance
• Learn the basic principles of Formulas on the Web Intelligence Platform
• Practice using the design features to make your reports look professional and compatible with PDF and Excel formats.

Session 2: Putting it All Together * Building a Complete Case Summary report

• Practice the skills from Session 1 by building a “Complete Case Summary” Report
• Learn to make reports available to users through Dashboard Messages and/or Homepages

Session 3: Mapping Processes to Reports * ID a process in your program and create useful reports for program staff

• Map a process in your own organization
• Use MTW’s Process Map Template to design an ETO report that supports the process

Session 4: Advanced Topics in ETO Results * Working with multiple queries, advanced formula writing

• Learn how to work with multiple queries to get data on unique subsets of participants
• Learn advanced formulas to get data such as data from participants’ most-recent response to a TouchPoint, data that counts/sums responses that meet a unique criteria, and many more!

This is a four day training that includes 16 hours of small group training, technical assistance between sessions, and 1.5 hour individual follow-up session. Space in these sessions is limited so please register as soon as possible to reserve your spot!
