Amano Studio is a small, woman owned jewelry brand and zero waste production studio based in Sonoma California. We partner with a handful of old New England workshops that give us access to archives of 70+ years of molds and tooling which allows us to resuscitate genuine vintage design as those designs cycle back into fashion. We also salvage "dead stock" vintage from East Coast factories that have closed. We also work with a small workshop in Seoul South Korea that makes our Miyuki Japanese Seed Bead collection.
About this product
Through time, the emerald has been known as a symbol of truth, love and intuition. In ancient Greece and Rome, emerald was said to be the gemstone of the goddess Venus, purveyor of love and hope. On the other side of the world, emeralds were revered by the Incas and believed by the Egyptians to be a source of eternal life. Like all green gems and crystals, Emerald is linked to the heart chakra. Chain is 14k gold plated brass, 18" L. Card is gold foil letterpress. Printed in Berkeley California. Designed and assembled in our Sonoma California studio.
